The works of the Presocratics are admired and will be admired forever, because although they were created in the 6th and 5th centuries BC, they are made to stand the test of time.

Despite the passage of thousands of years since they were composed, with the freshness they exude, they are so new and modern and so "recent and new" that they amaze us. As if they were composed today! And their creators give us with an archaic sneer their ideas, which sharpen the mind and calm our soul".
